Sir, I'll raise a glass of sour mash tonight for you and wish you a speedy recovery.

If I had spent my whole life worrying what other people thought about me or my lifestyle, I wouldn't even have a vehicle to pull a freakin' trailer!

My name is Night Crawler and I am a "Trailoholic".......

Actually, it came with the bike. I was looking at a Crimson Red but they weren't gonna budge on the price. I got this white one with the inner faring painted already and the other chrome goodies for less than MSRP. It was a transfer bike with 6 miles on it. $4500 off the price - I couldn't pass it up. I guess white bikes don't sell so well - better for me!
Thanks for the comment - the painted inner fairing is always a nice touch - makes the bike pop a bit.

Cheers

just WHAT is a "real biker"??? When I had my Honda, a woman explained that I wasn't a "real biker" because I didn't have a Harley.... So I asked the obvious question... "What kind of Harley did SHE own"? her reply??? she didn't one a harley, but her boyfriend did.. so that made her a real biker..... LOLOL I told her... that she wasn't a real biker, she was "luggage"... surprisingly, she told me to screw myself...

who cares what others think, or say... do your thing

Who made up the definition of a "real biker" anyway? And who really wants to be one? Like has already been said, my bike is a toy, a hobby. I ride and tinker on it because it gives me pleasure. Ride 10 miles or 1000, what ever makes you happy. You can still be a biker if you want to call yourself that. I don't even own a trailer, sometimes I wish I did. I just do what I enjoy, I don't have to worry about being a "real biker".

Get well soon, man.

Sorry to hear about your Prostate trouble, wish you well on your recovery. I have trailered before and if the situation arises in the future I will trailer again.

65 Miles one way to work for me on I 95 in GA.
I see tons of trailers and I have no clue why they are trailering.
Who cares.

A friend with a trailer is a friend indeed
A friend in need is a friend with a trailer

May the Lord grant you a speedy recovery. My wife and I will pray for you. I have made fun of trailered bikes in the past but it is for fun only. I never meant any harm by it. I will take a second thought next time. Thanks for bringing it up and for your selfless act of helping a brudda out.

For example, I have seen people trailer to within 50 miles of Sturgis, leave the trailer and ride in like they have just made a 1,000 mile journey. They strut around like they are something special and would never admit that they trailered unless you actually caught then in the act.

Medical reasons are definately reasons for not riding long distances under some circumstances, but way to many people use that as an excuse to justify trailering. I say this because I have a friend that has some trouble walking and can no longer hold a bike up. He put on a sidecar and rides 10,000 to 15,000 miles a year. I have ridden with Vietnam vets that have a leg, or both missing, or an arm and they ride from LA to Washington DC every year.

I have no issue with people that trailer as long as they are up front about it and realize that their experience is much different than the people that ride and they shouldn't act like they are having the same experience.

Are you serious? Why in the world do you care how people act or what people do? Whats it to you? People do all kinds a crazy things, do you confront them about it? I just don't get it. Can you not have fun and mind your business at the same time? Who cares if a person trailers a bike to within a few yards of an event the rides out of a trailer covered in road dirt he just picked up on the side of the road and starts telling bike stories about his cross country trip. Why would you be insulted by this? Do you spend your entire time at events picking out people who are not as "hard core" as you think you are? What a simple minded thing to do.

What gives you the right to tell people how to act? Do you confront these people in person? Seems to me you are wasting valuable time being concerned how total strangers live and act. I am sure those with medical reasons would like to thank you for excusing them for trailering their bike.
