Hey, do any of you seasoned riders have a preference for any particular biker magazines?
I'm particularly looking to subscribe to something that gives a fair amount of attention to HD touring bikes...
If by "seasoned" you mean "old fart", I'll throw in my .02. [:-]
I've been a long time subscriber of American Iron Magazine. They do a good job of covering a lot of topics
of interest to most on this forum. Not just touring, not just racing, not just customs, but a good blend of
bikes and maintenance tips with lots of pics.
Both American Iron and American Rider are good. AI tends to have more interesting stuff and less of the "riding the Smokies in autumn" fluff. But AR has Joe Minton's tech column, and he is as good as they get. Donnie Petersen writes for AI; he's also good but tends to have more of a "sky is falling" approach.
