If I wanted an Ultra, I would have bought an Ultra. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on an 09 Road Glide, but my King stays where it is. Like Ram said, it is noit about what you buy, it is what you create. I can strip my Road King Custom down to this
even take the wind shield off in about 10 minutes or load it up like this
or anything inbetween...try that with an Ultra!
am i wrong? if you take a road king add a fairing stereo gauges and a windshield dont you have a electraglide? considering the cost of a r/k wouldnt a eg standard be the way to go
I'm in the same boat as Ram! I have a 2007 Road King with a detachable fairing and detachable King Tour Pak. That does make it look like an Electra Glide....but....I can pop the fairing off in less than a minute on a hot day. You can't do that with an Electra Glide!
In my opinion, Harley will never make a bike like mine. They sell so many different models that they won't want to sell one model that is convertible to many different models. The fairing and Tour Pak are nice...but why be stuck with them all the time??
