The wobble your worried sorry was worried about is in the curves right. My question is does it handle at high speed.MY two roadking customs have had bad wobble around 110 t0 120.Im thinking this is more front end geometery than proble with rigidity in rear.
did this peice do anything for that,if your not into that kind of speed fine just dont try to tell me its to fast, that opion and we all know about htose.

If the wobble is caused by lateral (end) play in the swing arm relative to the frame and the swing arm bushings are a part of the problem, shouldn’t they be replaced when the brace is installed? I can see how the brace will take the lateral swing arm loads and stop the bushings from compressing allowing them to be in service much longer. Just seems like they should be changed too. What do you think?

I am no mechanic. Is this something I can install myself? Do you need a lift?

I am no mechanic but was able to install it with no issues in about hour and 1/2.

Yup, you guys have convinced me. I will be ordering one for the RK as soon as I get back. I had been looking at the different set ups but I really like the Bagger Brace the best. Just looks really sturdy and all tucked away. Thanks for the write up!!!

So let's see the bagger brace is a uniquely designed, quality part with a good price that can be purchased from good folks.......sounds awesome but I got one question.
Any ground clearance issues. From the photos it looks like the way the brace is mounted to the transmission pan that the brace itself is actually lower than the frame. Wouldn't that make it the first thing to come into contact with debris or something else on the road. Only asking because my bike has been lowered 1" in front, and 1.5" and I don't want to lose additional clearance.

It's lower than the frame in the installed position, but keep in mind that the frame begins to curve upward quickly at that point towards the back of the bike, so looks are deceiving. If you look at it dead on, the bottom of the piece that fits around the pan sits just slightly higher than the frame cross-member. At least on mine it does. Bottom line, I'm not too worried about clearance.
