Email notification workaround

Okay....someone help here...<sigh> Ah've tried everything ah kin, an' can't git gmail ta work for me. Ah suspect it's on mah end (security setup), but ah'm jest smart 'nuff ta know ah ain't smart 'nuff ta figger it out on mah own.
If someone's willin' ta let me call 'em so they kin help me sort this out, ah'd be grateful - jest drop me an email w/yer number an' the best time(s) ta call at gmandry@satx.rr.com

Don't know for sure, but I suspect the gmail address the notification is coming from is being blocked by the Comcast security filters.
It's definitely a must have feature.
