Gene -

Thus far I am still sitting with stock bars.. I will be heading towards some bars that will allow me to run cables inside them.

I am roughly 6'1 and find the riding position pretty good... Of course that might all change next week after I install a rider backrest and highway pegs.

The real test comes next month when I roll to Laughlin (from Seattle)...

I jumped the gun there a bit, your pic is a little tricky kinda looked like after market bars....
FWIW I have the same bike & color, rode it all last year with the stock bars which I hate being 6.2 tall.
I made the order yesterday for these http://www.jpcycles.com/ProductDetai...-306&cs=Harley
Also have a set of true dual Rineharts on the way, you got the stock baffles...are they loud?

Those look nice.. are you planing on routing wires through em?

My Rineharts are a stock set I puchased from Eastern Performance... and yeah, they might be considered loud but damn they sound sweet!

I also did stage 1 (without HD download) and the PCIII.. bike runs GREAT! I have not had any of the problems you see on the forum about the FI issues.

I will be creating an album soon that will have better pictures of some of the other mods I have done (only purchased 3 months ago).

What have you added to yours?

Hi Gene & John,

That was the first thing I did was get different bars from the dealer. They called them "Bagger Bars". They're a bit wider and grips aren't so "purple rain".

It was fun routing the wires thru the bars, and I moved the turn signals to the lower tripple clamps by just buyiing a stud from the hardware store with fine/course threads.

I also got Rineharts, Screamin Eagle air filter kit, and PCIII. Still tweakin the PCIII as John and I have discussed.

Gene B.

Yeah, I am torn on the bars... The blue LED clock that mounts on the left side handlebar (in an auxillary housing) has REALLY been calling out to me.. but I think that it will not work if I go for bars that are fat enough to route wires through.

Oh the choices we must make.

I got my bike a little over 1 year ago, I had them do a Stage 1 with their off-road pipes,
this was just to get me goin until I figured out what I rally wanted for pipes.
Also got the W-shield and back rest, chrome forks.
I added a PC to tune it better than the S1 flash..sucks!
Got my V&H head pipes along with the Rinehart slip-on's today
Just got in from taking it apart, will do the install tomorrow plus my bars was shipped today also.
I plan on gettin it dynoed, unless I find a map that pulls real nice?
Man our bikes are dam near the same.
I'm just south of Chicago and waiting for the weather to break!
I've also added some chrome , switch housing, levers.....
I could use a set of stock rear pegs for my Hi-way pegs.
Then thats enough cash into it for this year, next year 95in cam and heads.
I came off a Nitetrain that was very well built.
So after a little detail work tomorrow my pipes will be on and I'll hear what I got,
bars will be on in a few days and I'm ready and pumped!
BTW GenoRKng I'm also Gene B...whats with that...
