Yep, they're great. Much more relaxed riding position and comfort. Seemed to take the pressure off my hips as the original position of the floorboards always felt to close together for me.

I have the Kuryakyn 3/4" extensions, purchased years ago and transferred from my old RK, and they are a big improvement. The only drawback is that the floorboards will scrape more easily in turns, but the fix is to simply raise them up a notch. That fixed it for me, but those with long legs may not find a higher foot position to be acceptable.

Soos sells these extensions and is a sponsor, so that would be the route I would take if I needed another set.

Bought 'em from SOOS...for me AND for the passenger boards. Work great! Everbody is more comfortable, and the tank doesn't get as much rubbing. Highly recommended.

I bought a set from Harley Goodies and put them on last night. This was before I heard about Soos...
I took a short ride today and it did feel a little better, but not enough for me.
I'm 6' 6" and wear a size 14/15 boot.

My first thought is that I'm still cramped because I'm still using the stock pillow seat and that thing has me pushed so far forward, I feel like I'm humping the tank
My Badlander should be here on tuesday, so hopefully I'll be singing a different song by then.

I've also got an eye out for an extended brake and shift lever to help out as well.

My previous two bikes had forward control kits on them. The first had 3" forward and 1" up and the second one had 5 1/2" forward and 1" up...that was nice!

Whatever the case, get the floorboard extensions. Every little bit helps!

Let's see if I can get the pics to display. Mine are from SOOS

Here is the driver kit:

Footboards before the install

After the install

I don't believe I took any of the rear install, but this should give you a real good idea of the front extension kit.
