Klockwerks look cool but don't outperform any true duals, if you like the way they look and aren't conserned about performance, go with 'em.

I noticed a drop in low end when I installed my TD's from the stock system. It made me almost want to go back to the stock head pipes and a set of slip ons, but due to the heat issues and the fact that the stock head pipes look like **** I kept with TD's. I just switched from Rineharts to V&H Dresser Duals to get a little quieter exhaust. They are both of excellent quality, IMO that the V&H are easier to install, plus they allow many slip on options. As someone stated earlier the Rineharts only can use the muffler that comes with the system due to the stepped design of the header pipes. So far I have felt no power difference between the stepped design of the Rineharts and the straight design of the V&H.

I've had the Rinehart TD,s on my scoot for over 2 yrs.('06 Streetglide). I never noticed a loss in torque. They offer a quiet baffle but it only reduces the loud factor by about 5-6 dec. unless you wrap the baffles w/ fiberglass.
Put a VH true dual on my wife's '07 Heritage and only noticed a slight loss in low end torque (sub 2000 rpm). It was almost imperceptable and the gain everywhere else more than made up for the minimal loss. Added a PCIII and a Big Sucker and that 96 incher really woke up. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious.

Anybody have the Rush true dual setup on their bike? How do they sound and does the ceramic coating help with the heat?

I bought Rineharts before I bought the bike. I would do it again.

Default Duals

I like the duals for looks, but for sheer performance 2 into 1 will always produce more hp. At least that's been my experience.

hey tuna1 i have Rush mufflers on my 08 EG with stock header. Rush says they increase 5 HP. they dyno'd my bike when they put them on i gained about 8 HP but i add a BS air kit too. i org. bought them with 2" baff in right side & 1 1/2" in left. then i changed to 2 1/2" baff's in both sides & can't till the diff. in either way on performance.

I like the looks of the Klock Werks Double-Back system... But I can't see how it would reduce the HEAT in fact I would think it would increase the heat to the rider on '07s and up. Rineharts TD they look good and sound good but I haven't had much luck with them on my '01 RKC - Replaced 3 Mufflers (Baffles broke loose) 2 rear header pipes & 3 sets of tips.. My son's '05 RK had failures also. You do know you will loose a little performance on the low end with duels, but not that much.
