ok thanks. thats the thing...i just want to make sure the look is good. you're right, different accessories look different depending on the bike they're on. i've just never went with dark accessories before so i look forward to alleykatt's pics.
This is true. My last four bikes have been three black pearl and one vivid black. I found myself leaning towards the dark accessories with just a hint of chrome. With the blue I find myself going more towards the bling. Not that I am a big chrome *****. But anything I may change out that has the option of chrome or black, I know go towards the chrome.
yep thats for sure. with the blue i'd go towards the chrome side as well.
im on the h-d site right now and am leaning towards the diamonds or other "black" stuff with just a tad of chrome like the contoured chrome and rubber grips. i figured as much as i change my mind i better get this going now before my bike gets here.
i keep checking out kury and other manufacturers but some of the stuff gets too radical for the look im going for.
I had the grips on my bike for about a day. I found them very uncomfortable. Gotta have some rubber on my grips.
thats good food for thought. that briefly crossed my mind not seeing any rubber on there. thanks for the input!
i guess if i think about it all of my previous bikes have had some kind of rubber on the grips. never thought too much about actually not having rubber so that is good food for thought since i will be taking some trips with this ride.

Well there actually is the slightest amount of rubber band on them, but no where near enough for my taste. In fact I gave mine away to a forum member. Have you seen the new "Tribal" gloss black HD line, grips and all? It's their newest black line stuff and makes the Black diamond look pretty stale IMO.

matter of fact i ran across the tribal last night. im gonna switch back to the h-d site right now and see if they have rubber on them. from what i remember it didn't look like much but i could be wrong.

cool thanks. one thing i just noticed is it doesnt look like they offer tribal floorboards. did i miss them?
Nope. No tribal floorboard inserts. Yet anyway. For some reason HD is not making complete sets of some of their collections. I really like the chrome tribal mirrors myself. Dunno why they don't do the other pieces in chrome as well as black.

i like the saddlebag guard delete on your bike. i've been searching some threads on that and plan on doing the same myself. i may just start off by leaving the stock loop guards on (with the holes in 'em i guess) but i'll atleast get the bag guards off.
