Joined the Harley Davidson family in September of 2005 very happy with my first choice of a Road King Classic EFI (2003)

The one thing I have noticed, and cannot figure out is why so many people have the leather bags.
I think the hard body color bags look so much better. Plus, here in the Tucson Desert I wouldn't think of getting anything else.
BTW...if anyone knows someone selling an 03 Anniv edition with no engine mods near Tucson, let me know!

Hi there,
Love my 03 RoadKing Classic, shipped her to San Fransisco in 2003 and rode all the way across to MIlwaukee for the party!
Lots of changes, 1550 kit, Baker 6 speed box, Mustang touring seat, Linby bars, cast wheels, Metzeler ME880 tyres, just done Mini Beast air horn (not shown)
Set up now for long distance touring, she just purrs along and will cruise all day at 80-85 MPH with only 3200-3500 on the tach.
As a full size human, I actually have more room on a King than even an Ultra Glide, Road kings are just build for me!
Ride safe out there.

You know what they say about opinions. I really like the look of the leather bags. Just like the white walls I think they really add to the classic look.
