as extrooper said, tons of people surrf the net, and not to mention everyone knows someone that can run license plates and get info on a particular plate. Belive it or not it is quite scary what you can obtain from a simple license plate #. I could find out Criminal History, home address, other vehicle info, ect ect ect.... lots of info is available to you if you have the access to run license plates, and like I said everyone knows someone that can run them, you just might know that they have the ability.
Sure, no problem ngoti8tor..........Not!.........
How about the 1-800-# for hows my driving?
LOL.
This has been a good thread, I really didn't see all the fuss....now I do. I wiped out my plate too...but wasn't sure why.
not to mention, someone knows roughly where you're at, has a real or imagined grudge, or looking to offset blame for something they did, calls in and reports your tag for something, like involved in crime / accident, etc.
when it turns up a real tag matching description, the questions will begin, who needs the hassle?
