That and it was a little more "jumpy" on decel at lower rpms.

I am still running the OEM auto chain adjuster in the primary. I do check the tension from time to time and so far it has not overtightened the chain, although I have heard reports from others that this has occured with the new setup.
Hey Dalton,

I have never had any trouble with a compensating sprocket so I am curious if they are up to the task with a big inch motor. Most people I have actually talked with who have big motors report no problems. I have in the past changed out the compensating sprocket for a solid style sprocket on more performance style bikes and also noticed the bike to be more "Jumpy" but they were also lighter bikes. I have never tried doing the swap on a heavier bike like a bagger.

As for the primary chain adjuster, my bike is a 2005 with the manual style adjuster. I talked with a couple people who recomended to stay with this setup because of some problems with the automatic one adjusting to tight. I don't personally know anyone who has had this problem, but the mechanics at a dealer i use have told me they have had a couple of problems with this issue.

I finally decided to get the Zippers Thundermax Fuel Injection kit and have that now. Engine will be here in the next couple weeks then I will tear into it and start the winter project.

I ask for everyones opinion not because I don't know what I am doing but because I want to make a well informed decision on the items I purchase. I don't want to have to buy anything twice.

Thanks for your replies on this and to everyone else to. I appreciate it.
