It's the B+ connector and it connects to the positive battery terminal.

Papi--the connector in your second picture is for passing lamps.

the big orange one is part of the overlay harness plug for the ultra classic overlay harness for rear speakers,amp,cb,intercom,the small one with red plug is extra battery lead

Thanks, I just found it in the wiring schematics. Any idea what is it used for?

Papi,

It looks like the little black one in the second pic is for the front finder tip lamp. I had always wondered what that was for as well, at first I thought I forgot to plug it back in somewhere, but I don't have a finder light.

So I finally got out my manual and looked this stuff up and found out the same as was posted here. The manual is great, I just need to use it more. It has great illustrations and really helps to locate and id stuff, if you don't have one you should get one, they are great! But if you get one make sure you use it!
