Burnt Air filter?

Burnt Air filter?
Put a new K&N Air Filter in last night and noticed that the old one had several burn holes in it?
'06 Street Glide...bought it 2-24-06 and have 2900 miles as of yesterday.
Anybody have similar problems?
Had the new bulletin injector mod and 06A MAP installed at 2100 miles.
Some of you may want to look at you air cleaners...maybe I'm just an isolated case.

This should get interesting? Any photos of the old air cleaner? I juat had the new injectors put in 400 miles ago. Installed my new pipes and the HD Stage one AC.

Had me curious, pulled mine off tonight, to inspect, and its as clean as a new one..........What setup are you running?? SE A/C, SE slipons and SERT, here, looks like new, with about 900 miles on the filter.
