Took the stock seat off my 06 EGlide and put it in storage. YES it feels like it is shoving me WAY FAR forward into the tank. Went with a 06 Road Glide seat, much better. Also tried an 02 Road Glide seat. That was even more comfortable but they are hard to find and my buddy wanted his back

I thought it was just me. I put highway pegs on mine just to push myself back in the seat. I'll see if my buddy still has his RK seat and give it a try.

I bought a 06 Electra Glide Classic last week and dont like the seat at all. I'm 6'3" and feel like I'm sitting way to high and ontop of the tank also. I have a Corbin two up dual touring on my Road King I'm going to try and see if it helps.

The way I read this, you are sliding forward (not sitting forward), I too felt this at first and believe it’s the material (slippery) since I lowered the bars and got a 1000 miles on her all is good now.

I believe before lowering the bars I must have been reaching too much and causing me to slide forward. BTW I am 6' on a good day

Yes, If I sit back in the normal position, I seem to ride up on the tank in a short distance, In the normal position the seat is comfortable, just can't seem to stay there!! BTW I'm only 5'7", so its not like I'm real tall, just wondering if the sundowner seat is the answer?? I wish the dealers had demo seats, like boat dealers have demo props, you pay your money and try them till you find the riht fit!!
