I bought my 09 UC for my 2nd bike... I havent ridden the Bourget 100 miles since I picked up the UC almost 2 months ago..
Its night and day...nobody looks at the UC, but people will stop and break thier neck to look at the custom. My softail riding friends make fun of me when I take the uc out instead of the custom....they just dont understand!
My first bike was an ironhead sportster. After 25 years of riding it I decided it was time for a second bike so I got an EVO Road king. In my case I would have to contemplate a 3rd bike which would be either an EVO 1200 custom sporty or a shovel if I could find an FLH in pretty much stock condition. I still ride the ironhead. Hard to wear one out.
About ten years ago I had a stripped down dresser and a hardtail. I would ride one of them for a couple of months and then ride the other. I loved it. I think it's good to have two totally different bikes. When you switch out, you appreciate the good points of the new bike more.
I would go with a FatBob if I was going to get a second one now.
Just my opinion, but the Sucker Punch bikes (with virtually a non existant dealer network) are $10,000 bikes with $25,000 price tags. Hardtail......small....80" EVO motor.........very poor quality.
I thought this would be a great 2nd bike. BIG MISTAKE!
