New Mexico Bound Help Needed
My wife and I are trailering our EG from Montana to Southern Colorado this winter for our 25 wedding anniversary. We want to leave the rig there and ride to Carlsbad caverns and then over to the White sands. I am looking for some advise on back roads and out of the way places to go. I do not want to take any main highways or superslabs if we can avoid them. Thanks.

From Carlsbad, to Artesia, to Cloudcroft, to Ruidoso, to White Sands, to Las Cruces, to La Mesa, to Hillsboro, to Silver City. These are a few nice places to visit while in Southern NM. I would do the ride as stated. I have lived around here 28 Yrs and there are a lot of places to ride. Depending on the time of the year, there will be nasty weather in the high mountains. Enjoy the ride.
