I decided to put a down payment on a 2009 Street Glide today. Pickup is not until April, but I am already anxious for spring. I ordered it with all the factory options except the wheel package (someone on this forum somewhere said to stay away from it).
The only thing I cannot make up my mind is with the color. Anyone have any pictures of a bike with the 2009 color Dark Blue Pearl or Pewter Pearl? My dealer does not have any bikes with those colors.
Black Pearl (see sig pic) Photos do not do the color justice. You have to see it in person in the sunlight. It will surprise you! Nice pick on the SG. Ride safe.
I am going to order a 09 St.Glide shortly, trying to figure out what color I want, almost
100% on the Pewter Pearl,,do a search there are a few pics of both color. I will also try and send you. What dealer did you order from??
I ordered my bike from Barrie Harley Davidson, Ontario. Its tough to to visualize the colors with that little patch they give you. I like the red, but my wife said she would not ride on a red Harley? Not sure whats up with that but since I spent $900 on a seat, back rest and fittings I guess its some other color.
tuxster i am in the same predicament as you only i have to make my decision by this thursday. i am stuck between the pewter pearl and black pearl. if anybody has any good pics of there bikes please post them it would greatly help. sorry if i am raining on your parade.
You can take a look at my profile and see the Dark Blue Pearl on my 08' SG, but to tell you the truth.....I am liking the Pewter Pearl more and more every day!
ca. fatlad if u have any pics of the streetglide in black pearl i would greatly appreciate you posting them please. the quality and size of your pics are excellent and they would really help me in my decision making process as well.
