When you guys tighten your gas caps do you turn them till they tighten and click (slip), or stop before they click?
I know it is a pressurized system and the cap needs to be tight, but do you need to turn it till it slips to get the proper seal on the system?

+1 what he said ^. Otherwise when it runs the engine diagnostic when you go to start it if it's not sealed fully it most likely will throw a check engine light code.
Well it may be a pressurized system, but I ran my 08 SG a full tank run without a gas cap and no codes or running issues.Yea I left it on top of the pump.
