Dyno tuning is imperative.

I have Rinehart True duals on my 08 SG, with a PC III fuel controller, AN air cleaner...yep you can in a matter of seconds have it so rich that you will need new plugs. Most (all good ones) fuel management systems have a range of adjustability that allows for tuneing from stock and up.

If I read your question ... you have a stage 2 setup now with a presumtion of stock exhaust? If you now go to true duals....it will be leaner, more air out. If this is the case I would retune to get more fuel in, i.e. richen it up.

my 80 cui ran great with a stage 2 setup from back in 1998 which includes se(k&n) air intake and breather adapter,a se-3 cam, se calibration cartridge( race tuner ), 41% larger fuel injectors, se-performance mufflers. I recently went to a fullsac true dual kit, and it seemed to run lean. Alright, I bought the Techlusion 1040 fuel tuner ( adj. pot ), and once installed was when The surging and hestation started ( tried a thousand different adjustments ). I took it right off the bike and I was still getting the same problem. Then I installed the Super Flow 2.25 slipon mufflers and got the same surging/hesitation. Then I re-installed the Techlusion fuel tuner, tried another thousand different variation of adjustments. Now it is a little better, the best performance was a ( medium ) type setting for addin fuel ( 3/3.5/4/4), less or more just made it worst. My plugs are showing very rich. the thing dosen't make sense to me.

Agreed. A dyno tune is the best way to go.

You will have to buy a new FI manager like a PCIII or SERT and have the bike dyno tuned to get it to run correctly. The Techlusion, Fuel Pak, Cobri FI and other similar units were not meant for anything more than basic stage 1 mods.
