After reading all the post about how great and wonderfull
the 09 touring bikes are I took it own my self to go and look at the
new 09 rkc. At first they look really nice but then I ask to sit on one
then I noticed that the righthand grip was smaller than the lefthand grip,
the gas tank that now holds 6 gallons is taller than before whitch
canges the apearance when one is sitting on the bike. The dealer offered
me 15,000 to 16,000 dollers for my 07 just from looking at the picture
on my cell phone then I thanked them and walked out got in my car
and thanked heaven for my 07
And your point is? Don't buy an 09 cause the grips are different, or because of the 6 gallon tank? Or because you'll take a beating on the trade? Keep ridin' the 07, and stay away from the dealer. Not much news here. LoL
Although this is the first time I've ever heard that the grips were different. So I take it back, there is some new news. Now whether it's valid or not, well, we'll see what the folks with the '09's have to say.... I'm sure they'll chime in right away...
