Heated gear is good stuff. I have the HD heated jacket liner, gloves and dual temp controller. I've ridden into the teens with no problem. Don't do long trips in the winter, but the heated gear is great to get out for a couple of hours.

I have the HD (by Gerbing) and they work well. As to the guy who said the Gerbings get hotter, I think the rep was blowing smoke to get you to buy Gerbing. I can't imagine anything getting hotter than the HD or why you would want it hotter.

I have the HD electric gloves and I think they're just the ticket for cold weather riding.

I use heated grips last year they were great till they burn up twice. I use the heated gloves they have been warm without even turning them on. I love the heated jacket it's putting out heat before I leave the yard. I ride year round and on the winter weekends I like riding in the country. Turn your heated gear on ride in the coldest weather and not real thinking it's cool out. I am thinking about getting the battery pack so went I leave the bike I still have the heat.

Gerbing also offers a heated glove liner for $79. I'm thinking of going that route.......

Harleys have some new heated gloves. Think I will buy them since I cannot get Gerbing here in Norway.

I have the HD heated vest and gloves. They work well. I dont have the themostat but wired mine up to the accessory switch on the bike. The wife uses the on/off switch supplied. Most of the time If its cold enough to use the heated vest then it stays in the on position, so I dont know how valuable the themostat would be. Opinions vary. Ive had heated grips before, and they are far easier to use in that you dont have to fish the wiring harness through your jacket, but either way you go, youll wonder why you didnt sooner.
