Does anyone have personal experience with this product? Are they the same size as the Harley batwing and the other knockoffs? Are you satisfied with the quality? How's the stereo? I've tried to contact the company, but they don't list a phone # on their website- just an email address and I can't get that to work. Makes a guy a little leery about ordering from a company with no listed physical address and no other way to contact them. Don't want to get caught holding the firebagger, so to speak! Thanks, George.
I had to have been one of the first kids on the block to get one. I like it alot. It is lockable, fiberglass and well made. HD windshields fit but I'm not sure about bra and wind deflectors.
I got mine unpainted and stereo ready for $800. It had a stereo door, speaker holes cut and wiring harness.I had a body shop two tone it, added my own stereo components, a4" blacked out windshield with chrome trim, a 12V socket and a windshield bag. All done I'm into it for under $1,300.
Try looking up TSUKAYU.com it is actually the MFG and you may get quicker email correspondence. They are in Hong Kong so calling is a pita. They also are up front about the fairing taking around 4 weeks to get.
I know how you feel. Trying to buy something over the internet sight unseen. I got a firebagger fairing about 11 months ago and love it. It took about 3 weeks to get it. The only issue I had was I broke the key off to the lock.I sent them a e-mail and they sent me a new lock set no questions asked. A friend of mine got one after me for his RKC but didn't fit.due to he had replaced the bars with a after market set and the fairing would fit.So he send it back and got a refund he had no issues. I got mine with radio and it sound pretty good and it cranks. I use a flash drive so there's no skipping. My bike is black so it matches well. All in all fit and finish I would get another one. Good luck I can send you some pictures if you pm me.
Kuryakyn has been showing a fairing at rallies this year. I heard its going to be available in January. I have seen and played around with alot of fairings--and this is the nicest one I have ever seen!
I ordered mine after I saw it on Hagar the Horrible's bike and so far so good. I ordered it in gloss black and stereo ready for like $1300... it took about 5 weeks to get and I did have a small problem with the ground not being crimped inside the connector right but that was an easy fix and its been working great ever since.
Delivery day-
inside (fixing the ground wire)
and on the bike, after some pin stripping and a new windshield-
Hey, thanks for the info guys. Sounds like these fairings are a good deal. Guess I'd better order one soon before the rest of the money I have in the stock market evaporates! Thanks again for the help. George.
