09 Vance and Hines Question
Does any one know if the V & H Basic Slip-ons can be modified to fit an 09 EG. Harley tech said the shock mounts on the 09 get in the way. I have an old pair on another bike and I figure if I whack em with a piece of wood and a hammer I may be able to get enough of a dent to fit em. I don't figure a small dent will screw them up too much. Any thoughts on this ?

My Rush slipons have about a 1/2 recessed area just even with the lower shock mounts. That area is not seen. If you measured right then bent it in a little - should work. That is what Rush did but with a machine.
