i went to the corbin site and they have seats for road kings from 97-05, then 06-07, so i would be inclined to say that there is something different about the frame or mounting and the seats would not be a direct fit. if its possible to look at the seat before you buy it, you might be able to figure out what it'll take to make it fit.
