motor iol color
i posted this in the oil section no response.what motor oil has a green color to it ?
my brother took his 06 streetglide into a new indy shop that just opened here locally
he had them service it and change the oil and stuff .when we got it back and checked the oil we first thought the oil was never changed looked dirty but after wiping the stick on a paper towel we noticed instead of dirty it was green .does anyone have any idea what kind of oil this may be.

Green oil
Some of the oils from Castrol in the past were green. Been a few years since I've used them. Myself I'd be specking out what brand and weight of oil someone is putting in my bike. Just my opion.

Come to think of it. I haven't checked Kendall in years (Late 80's). If I remember the reason for the greenish color then was high levels of zinc/phosphorous (Anti wear agents). If I remember correctly the EPA made them clean that up for emissions purposes or at least the amount they added per quart.
