I was wondering if anyone has use S100 engine brightner and how well does it work?? I have never tried the stuff and wanted some feedback to find out if its worth it
The S100 bike wash did ok, but it smells similiar to Simple Green cleaner. I think for washing the bike Im going back to Dawn dish washing soap
I use the S100 engine brightener with good results but the bike wash leaves a residue that I don't like. I have a refill bottle that I'm going to try to return.
I have been told that dishwashing detergent will remove your wax so I use Harley Wash.

Generally speaking the S100 line of products do work well. I have a spray can of S100 engine cleaner or brightener for the black engines....it has a Q-tip looking applicator on it....I just haven't given it a try yet.
As for washing your bike.....never use dish washing soap. It is designed to gut grease and oil, and will strip any and all the wax of your paint work in one wash. It is good if you want to clean all the old wax off the paint, and start over with a 3 step compound/polish/wax. I would just keep the dish wash stuff far away from the paint. You may have better results using it on your engine as a cleaner....then you can treat the surfaces of the engine with one of the products out there that are designed to keep the engine looking good.
I use s-100 products with no issues. Just have to spend some time rinsing the stuff off. Also follow up with a good leaf blower (200mph) to remove the rinse water.
I also use the s100 products, have for years. I think they work great. But as far as using Dawn dish soap on your ride, your stripping any wax or polish off every time you use it!
I use and recommend S100 engine brightener. Once applied the brightener lasts a long time.
I apply the brightener as carefully as possible avoiding over spray, wash the bike, dry with air, wipe dry the wax all chrome and tins. 2 hours later your done.
