Thumbs up The New Clearview Shields for RG

Clearview hit the nail on the head with their new design for roadglide windshields. When I changed out my stock handlebars for Wide Glide bars, the mirror stems would hit the side of the old style clearview shield when close to lock. The new, slimmer shield even works with my 12" apes now. Nice job.

I prefer F4 Customs shields, I got one for my roadglide and have never had a better shield. I have been using a paper towel and windex to clean it and its water shedding is awesome! I will never buy clearshields again.

Best shield, best price best people to deal with. I've been through several windshields for my RG trying to find one that protects from the wind AND looks good. I'm not trying to sell anything for them but his design works, period.

Hey Bullseye-
Is the shield formed or does it come shipped flat? I have ordered shields in the past that I had to bend and they broke...
Any idea what they are made of?
They do look nice. What height do you have? How tall are you??? Come on, details man! LOL!|

This shield looks just like the one I purchased off of eBay several month's back. Very nice folks and even wrote a personalized thank you on the film covering the shield for delivery. I got the 14 inch one and am thinking about trying the 12 inch after the winter months. At these prices, experimentation doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Anyone know if this is the same ebay guy?

Check the link, its the same pics so it must be the same fella. Great guy and I bookmarked the site for future reference.

I agree about the new Clearview! The sides are curved in about 1/2 inch or so, and the new shape looks great. Can't tell any negative difference in the windflow to the hands - seems about the same to me. It's a great improvement as my mirrors now clear again and I can use the fork lock.

All new Clearview shields for the Road Glide come in this configuration now.

Those of you that have the Clearview shields do you have them with or without the vent? If you have it with the vent can you tell that your getting much airflow? Does it work?

I bought mine with the vent. I wouldn't spend the money on that again. I think it's a waste on the RG...
