Default Lets here from...

All you folks who've bought and installed one of the Fuel Moto Power Packages.

I placed an order back on the 3rd going with the Jackpot mufflers instead of Rush mufflers (from what I can tell the Jackpots are basically a carbon copy of the Rush mufflers with maybe a slightly different baffle setup). My package arrived the following Thursday. In less than 2 hours I had everything installed.

My only goof was to oil the K&N filter before I installed it. Never having used K&N products before, I didn’t realize it came pre-oiled. That in turn left me scratching my head as to where all what looked liked trans fluid was coming from on the top end. What a maroon I felt like once I realized what I had done. A quick wash of the filter to flush out all the excess oil and it was good to go.

As for the performance of the bike, I'd say it’s on the plus side and the sound is nice and deep when rolling on the throttle but mellow when I need it to be.

I personally can't say enough about Fuel Moto's service before the sell. There's been no need to call them after the fact as everything worked like it should have.

So, let's hear what others have to say good or bad.

I ordered the same package you did but with the Rush slip on’s. All I can say is how happy I am! The bike has never ran better, Getting great gas mileage (almost 43 mpg) and better power from 55-70mph. I never had to call so I can’t comment on the customer service. Overall a very good experience with Fuel Moto!

I ordered the Rush 2.0, pcIII and the Arleness big sucker from them. When I installed the kit, the bike ran hot and lean no matter what I did to the pcIII. After numerous calls to either Kevin or Jamie on the issue, it was decided to send the pcIII back to them. They tested it and noted that it was bad so they sent me a new one. I am very happy with their customer service and they will allways take your call. They can be busy at times but they are most helpful.

You can't say enough good about Fuel Moto. I went with the PCIII/Rush and it was the best money I have spent on my bike...so far.

First, the Jackpot baffle design is identical to the Rush--and AFAIK the only difference between the two mufflers being a small variation in shape and a double-wall approach toward the front of the muffler on the Jackpots that reportedly keeps discoloration to a minimum.

I was the first to install Jamie's trick baffles in my Rush mufflers last December and wrote it up here:

Power Package write-up

It wasn't called the "Power Package" back then, but I have an identical setup (FM AC, Rush w/custom baffles, PCIII with map). I have done some tweaking to the PCIII's cruise range to increase mileage, but other than that it is functionally identical. I will say that my enthusiasm for this setup is as strong now as when first installed. I think it is the best bang-for-the-buck "Stage 1" upgrade on the market.

I would advise anyone buying this package to specify the FM AC, not the K&N. I presume the OP bought Jamie's custom AC, which includes a K&N-like cleanable filter with modified SE hardware. I think this is a better design because it channels oil from the heads into the velocity tube, and thus won't barf it all over your leg or saddlebags.

I'm not sure to the FM AC. I didn't deviate from the package deal. I'd be inclined to think it's not. The oil channels are there on the back plate and once done installing the rubber tubes sends any oil directly into the throttle body.
