I purchased a set for my 05 Electric Glide only to find them not workable. The chrome piece that slides over the existing bracket was not wide enough to fit! it seems that the brackets on my bike had a washer welded to the bracket which made it too wide for the bracket to fit. The dealership did not have an answer for me either. I checked a few bikes on the floor and some had the washer and some didn't. I ended up just purchasing new floor boards from HD and that pushed them forward about an inch. Hope this helps.
