Any of you people find a dealer that will sell the CVO parts? Dealer here says CVO owners only with exchange of damaged parts. Thanks Doc

Went on a ride this weekend with a guy who had one. Beautiful bike. Not my choice, but it looks good. Too bad it developed a serious oil leak and the throttle quit. He had to get it towed back to the dealer. Too bad that a brand new bike could have these problems. I'd be pissed after paying 50% more than an already expensive Ultra.

I just talked to my parts guy & the same deal. No CVO parts without a VIN & HD Co. checks with the owner of the VIN also. He said it will be that tight for a year or so, like the others have. Anyone have a extra 15k I can use for a couple months.

Well the way my dealer talked they could get the parts, after all they got me the Bezel for the headlight and that is a CVO part. they also wanted to do a SG with that rear end set up. If they do I will post pics and let you know. When you punch in the info on Chicago HD it give you a part number for all three colors, but it also give you a primed on. What VIN has a primed paint job?

Below is a post from another forum that lists the full list of parts on my CVO Road King. I did pony up 30 large for my bike and have no regrets. I've enjoyed this bike with my wife and would do it all over again. I buy what I can afford and want. I had a standard Lowrider and loved it no less than this bike. You'll also find a few scratches on my bike. I ride it, not look at it or clean it all the time.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but below is a full list of goodies that are standard on the FLHRSE4 (pretty comprehensive - someone told me that if you bought a standard Road King and upgraded to the SERK, it would end up costing you about $55,000 - I don't know if this true, but it sounds impressive... )

Some parts do get restricted and can only be bought with a VIN, such as the paint and sometimes the tank badges. Most of it does become available once Harley has the required number of pieces in order to produce the quantity of bikes they are going to build. I have been buying CVO parts for years now. I first started in 2004 with getting the tach assembly from the 2003 Screamin Eagle Road King for my 2004 Road King Custom. Notice the Air Cleaner Cover in my Sig Pic, it was originally a CVO part as well on the Screamin Eagle Duece and I currently have on order the Headlight Bezel from the new Roadglide like many others do here. As a side note, when the Streetglide originally came out the rear fender extension piece was restricted too. I kept inquiring and when it finally became unrestricted I no longer wanted it.

I was talking to a dealer here and they sold the SERG while they uncrated it and have a deposit on the one coming arriving in a couple of weeks. The 1st one they sold for MSRP and the person put another couple of thousand so it was over 40K OTD.

So you got the CVO headlight bezel? Care to share the PN with the masses? Where did you get it and what did it cost you?
