Does anybody have any experience with these guys? http://www.bruisersinc.com/index.html I was thinking about how my Road King would look like without bags.

Andy, I was going to ask the same question. Seems like you have been waiting a while for some responses. Any luck at all elsewhere ?

some folks will come right out and call you a heathen for doing so, but it kinda reminds me of the old models.

I got the kit to eliminate the cross bar on the back of my FLHX and I'm very pleased with the quality and service. I love the looks of my bike without the license plate bar on the back.

Your Road King without Bags would look just like the one they advertise. Butt Fugly. That RK is MADE to have bags. That's what makes it cool. Just one opinion I know, and I realize that's not what you wanted to hear, but I gotta be honest man, that look is horrendous! Sorry.

I got thinking about this, now if you want to chop your RK down into a Bobber style setup, that's a different story, but just removing the bags, like I said above. It ain't a pretty sight.

actually, i like the look of the road king without bags, as long as the bag supports (not the lower ones, but the ones on the fender) are not sitting there out in the open. and i think maybe without the engine crash guard as well. otherwise, yeah, its ugly.....

I have bought from them, talked to them and dealt with them. They are (or at least to me) a top notch operation making quality parts with great customer service. No i am NOT in any way affiliated with them!!

My 01 Road Star (Indian or HD knock off, I know) installed big bags with ghost brackets so it was easy to get the clean finished look without bags on and it had single seat so looked really good. I may try that on the Road King someday, too many other upgrades ahead of it for now. This looks like a way to get there though.

For now.....enjoying the HD bags and all!
