-- actually without trying -- still trying to perfect the clutch induced wheelie on the rg -- seems it was easier to do on the sg.

I am a fan of hqs motors and kevin is an excellent tuner.

these guys are friends of mine -- they have competitions on who can get their bike sideways http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoid=44679003 this is Nasty -- they call him that because he never cleans his bike the guy on the Road King is Big Mannie -- he is the wheelie king http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBAUl...layer_embedded

I think the 103 was quicker off the line but the 107 would catch up pretty quit and definetly beat it on the top end

Lyn~ the difference in the 103/107 has gotta be getting the tune dialed in "just right".

I may have to find me a beater crotch-rocket. Those videos bring back memories....

Phil it's either the tune or the throttle by wire -- which I hate -- still got to practice my wheelies -- I have not got it down yet and weather have been very cold here-- I can get it up 6 - 8 inches but getting it sideways is not a problem -- of course I do not condone this type of riding--but my twin does--with the auto tune I have not put it on the Dyno -- but I may have to

that video is unreal......I was thinking of building a 107, after seeing that video, makes me feel better about not choosing that package. Not that the 107 wouldnt be fun, it may be to much fun and trouble for me, lol!!!!!

Sick. I got my stocker sideways once. My first ride after the bike sat for a year. It didn't run well with the old gas, even with lots of Stabil in it. I had to goose it sometimes to keep it from dying. I just happened to do it hard once right as I took off. I left a cool stripe down my neighboorhood road!

I didn't even think about that!

You are EXACTLY right! You need either a TTS or one of the new HD SuperTuners to "fix" the nonlinear relationship between the throttle pot and the blade in the TB.

THere is a setting called (something like) "throttle progrestivity" that can be tweaked to make them linear ~ meaning "it's just like a cable".

I plumb forgot you were dealing w/FBW.

The build we are doing this weekend is an 08, so it has the same issue. In fact, GliderXXX bought a TTS to replace his existing SERT to fix this very problem.
