small cut on the top of a back rest? I was swinging my leg off the bike and my boot lace eye clasp thingy caught the back rest it and tore. Any sug gests?

I have seen some stuff that you put on to fix small tears. It like a liquid vinyl and then you put a textured paper on it and use a Iron to heat and fix the tear.

I have never used it so I don't know if that would work for you or not.
