does any one have the instructions to install the fatcat on a bagger? I also have the falsie? wondering what hardware they supply and what I use from the stock exhaust? if you could email me them it would be appreciated. Thanks
PhilM let me in on a little trick when I did mine.
Before you remove the transmission end cover, park the bike on a 2 x 6 so it tilts further to the left and you don't loose any transmission oil.
Having a friend on that side of the bike is a good idea too.
as far as stock brackets, D&D said the fake header pipe for the falsie mounts to the stock starter bracket and also some people use the stock bracket by the trans cover some use the black one supplied(which I do not have) since I bought used from a forum member. why would I have to remove the trans side cover?
There is a bracket that holds the Fatcat on that attaches in there and you need to remove the end cover to do it.
If memory serves me, you also need to remove the stock bracket while you're are there.
P.M. PhilM for details, he's done lots, I've only done one, and it was a while back.
