Default 09' SG - Electronic Throttle

Have an 06' WG and love it but wanted something for the long haul.
Ordered an 09' SG that will be in in Feb. or March. Any pros / cons to the new electronic throttle that I think is on the 08' and 09' Tourers?
I have heard some rumblings about delayed throttle response and that you can't rev the motor over 2500 rpm with the bike in neutral or with the clutch in.

After 7000 miles and as its first riding season begins to come to an end, it rarely ever comes to mind that my '08 FLHT has an electronic throttle. I just start the bike and go.

No issues here.....yet.
Based on what I've read on this forum most of the problems were
with the 08's, looks like the mo-co may have the system ironed out.

Congrats on the purchase! I think you'll like it, 'course I may be biased

I can't tell the difference in throttle response and have had no issues at all with the throttle in 11,000 miles.

No problems with my 08. I think most of those rumblings are from people who do not have 08's

It took me a few rides to get used to it. The throttle response was better (touchier). I'm used to it now and don't even think about it.
