Pulled the trigger on a new RG
Ive been riding my 05 EGS and the dealer got in a demo Ultra.The power the smoothness.
Just a impressive riding machine.Been thinking RG for awhile but had never been on one.Dealer ,Jamestown H-D, got a 05 RG in on trade.Same engine mods as my Standard.Joe had me take it out for an extended ride.Got back to the dealership and said OK order it.
Now I have to pick a color.
Things im learning are the new rear tire/fender limits the options as far as what you can get for tail lights an such.Its so new that theres not much in the book for it.I have been told that this will change.Im not a trunk person.Never wanted a trunk.Dont like trunks on bikes.I usually just run a big T bag on a luggage rack.That I can get for the RG.
My plan is to set up my new RG just the way I had my Standard set up.And Im pretty close.
Heated grips and a center stand are still lacking.Dealer is telling me that stuff should be ready by spring time.
Now if I could just figure what color.
