What diff does the temp make? It seems that would direct more cool air onto the motor.
Wasn't that the orig purpose, then Harley got cheap and left em off?

More cool air on the motor, means less on the rider. The main complaint lately have been hot riders....Taking the fork baffle off helps get rid of the hot air directly under the tank, and allows more to come up in front of the tank onto the rider.

I leave mine on year round and haven't noticed any drastic changes. I did have to "chase" the threaded holes with a tap because they are painted.

Easy to install, looks nice, can't really tell any difference in air flow.

I put on the Black one.

I had the parts guy just order one of the stock ones off a Road Glide.
I didn't want the chrome one.

I leave it on year round.
I don't know if they work. I put it on before I brought the bike home.

I run mine year round no issues, just make sure you run a 1/4-20 tap through the holes first.

Drag Specialties has them too.

Make sure and run the tap to remove the paint. I have noticed less buffeting on the helmet visor but most important, I have less muddy water coming up between the forks and the tank when riding in rainy or wet weather. THat's a big plus in the Houston area!
