Well I went to HD stealership to look for a layback licence plate mount for the RKC, When I saw the hundred and fifty-somthing dollar price tag on it I turned around and walked out. I for one thought it was ugly, it sat way to far away from the bar thingy it mount's to, and it was not that "layed back". So I took it upon myself to make one more to my liking. It came out real nice, compact, simple and sleek. At least in my eyes. My buddy came over to check it out and told me I should Patent it and sell it. So here is the second half of my Q, do you think there would be a market for it? Here are the pic's now I know you are waiting.
That looks really nice, man. Very clean. I like the no frame, no frills, just the plate look. My only question, does the plate light illuminate it adequately?
Bet there'd be a good market for it. Only concern is production cost versus reasonable price. Try it on eBay and see how they sell.
Didn't like the mount from the moco either. Went with custom chrome. Shorter cross brace. Looks good with laydown LED light. There are other options out there. Below the light not for me. To each his own.
