Didn't like the mount from the moco either. Went with custom chrome. Shorter cross brace. Looks good with laydown LED light. There are other options out there. Below the light not for me. To each his own

My only question, does the plate light illuminate it adequately?
Not sure yet, I have not checked it. The layback mount on the fatboy does not light up the plate all that well at all either though. I am personally not that worried about it.
