i didn't read the article, but i know around here petro express stations were all tagged as citgo until about a year or so ago, and then they all change to texaco...
i assumed it was because of backlash created partially by talk radio and people becoming more aware of the citgo/chavez relationship....

petro express is canadian. long way from venezuala.
lets see, if i remember correctly, a number of the terrorists from 9/11 were saudis. and as far as we know, chavez hasn't sent anyone over here to attack us. so give your money to people we know have supported terrorism, or to some nutcase who talks a lot?
the best thing is to develop our own energy independance and say f*ck you to all of them.
also, around here, the gas all comes from the same refinery/distributer. so it doesn't matter if you buy shell, texaco, murphy, etc. its the same base. a different detergent package, but still basically the same gas.
