Auxiliary light question
I have looked at the Harley wish book and what I see listed says their module fits touring bikes from 97-08 (except FLHX). Why is this?
Anyone know how to do this? I would like a plug and play module and lens if available.
Thanks
The Harley parts guys say it would work on the FLHX , but we don't have the law problem here.
I have been researching the same thing for my new bike , I had the old module 91699-99A on my 06 FLHT and reallt liked it alot.
The 91699-99A won't work (I tried it) on m 09 FLHTCU but the newer Harley module is suppose to work.
While checking out these items , I ran across the Radiantz website and will convert my directionals to these eventually. I emailed Radiantz and they claim they use the Biketronics Tailbones unit to do what we want to do.If we want to convert to LED directionals afterwards , we would then have to add the Biketronics equalizer unit (BT801) to have stop/tail/directional function with LED's.
I just emailed Badlands to see what they recommended and am awaiting a reply from them .

The Badlands Illuminator contains both functions , so you can run the module for run/turn/stop and then add LED lighting afterwards.
Supposedly the Biketronics and Badlands units are compatible with the TSSM function on some of the newer bikes.
If anyone has had dealings with Badlands , I would love to hear from them.
This is what I've seen so far.

I'm pretty sure that 07 was the first year for the TSM thing , so if you use a Harley module on a bike newer than an 06 , it must use the later model module with the running light function.

The module works great, the brake lights on the bullets isnt super bright but it does increase your visability to the cagers ALOT! The part number i used was 69462-06a
