wow 85 an hour! we are 54 an hour.....
it is alot of work.. fairing, stereo, ignition, i had to take exhaust off, i probably had 3 hours just in getting to the bars... cycle smiths look so sweet on there.. imho they look the best on a batwing
Just finish the install of the 13" Cyclesmiths with the email help of Bertk. The bars are awsome compared to the stock one's. All you need is a new clutch and and brake line. I have the extended wires but did not need them. I just relo'ed the plugs and I was good to go.
I know what you mean but I ran a roadking for many years and never worried about my hands. I either ran glove liners or plug in gloves if it got that cold. The plug in gloves are a little bulky but what the he!! my neck and back feel alot better.

I agree, if I only had one bike id sacrafice form for function...
i'm running 13" burly bars on my 08 flhtp. 38" wide with not too much pullback. the best thing i could have done for my comfort, i'm 6'6" so i need the room.
I installed the HD pullback touring handlebars on my 09 Ultra. I changed out the cables as well with the HD Steel braided variety ("Diamondbacks"). Looks good, works great. Raises the bars up about 1.5 inches and brings them back about the same. I had a bit of an issue getting the ignition switch back on properly tho...a whole lotta trial and error...much more difficult than my 2003 Ultra. Don't know if it has anything to do with the 09's, or if I just had gotten lucky with my '03. If you move the handlebars/front wheel after removing the ignition switch, the alignment of the cylinders changes, so the switch shaft will not just drop back into place. Harley sells a "special" tool for 60 bucks to align the cylinders...I ended up screwing around for the better part of an hour using a long screwdriver instead, and finally (and by dumb luck) got everything lined up and reinstalled. The HD pullbacks are good bars, and fixed the pain in the shoulders issue for me.
