Default Primary Tensioner Adjuster

I have an 05 FLHRI Road King and I think it has a Primary Shaft Seal leak. It is under warranty. I believe i have read on this site that HD now has a Primary Adjuster that is automatic. Is that true and should I get one while they have the case off.

Yes HD has their own and I would have it installed if the primary cover has to come off. They might charge you 1/2 hour labor for the install or none at all.

Just put one on mine this weekend. If you can get the dealer to do it cheap, then good deal. If not, it's not a bad job to do yourself. Took out some of the 'clunk' when shifting, which I really didn't expect. I installed it for longevity and ease of maintenance.

While youre getting the adjuster fixed, see if you can get an Alabama shirt rather than that awful looking thing you got on in the picture.
