Default New wheels and tires

I want to put some chrome wheels on my "08" Ultra classic. There are some pretty sweet ones out there. My question is: should I stay with the factory size or should I go with a larger size? How much larger can I go without making any changes to the bike? Is there anything I should know before buying like; axle size, bearing size, what type or size spacers, any brands to stay away from?? I am leaning towards solid chrome wheels. Anyone have these? Any problems? Should I have the same size on the front and back on an Ultra?

Have you thought about having your stock wheels chromed over the winter. There was a thread a couple of days ago about having the 09 wheels done for about $550

Check my bike out I just put Forge Tec Monarch wheels on (16 x 3.5).
I very happy with the ride and look.
No special spacers or bushings were needed

I went with 18" in front and highly recomend that size.
It still has lots of sidewall for a nice ride.

I put 16" on the rear because I went with a Harley Rim and that's the only size they offered for a '08 model.
