I took my outer fairing off today to install Hog Tune Speakers, HID high/low Light and Oil Temp Gauge.
I see on the back of the stock radio there is a plug in for an AMP.
Any idea why that's there??
As far as the stock speakers, I'm amazed you can hear them at all with those tiny magnets.
Well I tried to look of it on line, but couldn't find it. The MOCO sells what they call their high output sound system that came with speaker upgrades and an amp that mounted under the tour pak. Like I said they did not have it on line, but they might still have some at the dealers. Aftermarket is better but hey at least they tried to make it louder.
They use the same radio for all the models, some of which have amps and rear speakers. BTW, I have the HogTunes fairing speakers, lower fairing speakers, and amp...great system, plenty loud, very crisp, and a lot less then the competition. Install was a breeze.
