Looking for fuse blocks and mounting location ideas for 07/08 touring bikes. My battery is starting to look like a rats nest after adding trailer hitch and relay, motolights relay, horn relay, etc..
I have a Centech AP2 aux fuse block on my bike. I got mine from www.easternbeaver.com. I don't think Jim sells the AP2 anymore but I think he now makes his own. Jim will also custom make any wiring harness for you. Great guy and great service. Kurt at www.fuzeblocks.com also has aux blocks.

My bike is a Honda ST1300. I have quite a bit of room under my seat. I have an intercom system w/cell phone & iPod and the Centech AP2 mounted under the seat. The Centech fuse box itself is about the size of a pack of smokes. It needs to be somewhat protected and easily accessible wherever you mount it. Some people mount them under their fairings. Easternbeaver will custom make your battery cables for you. I have easternbeaver relay's and wiring harnesses for my fuse box, air horn, and driving lights.
You can also go to your local Boaters World or West Marine and get a Blue Sea fuse box. They are a little bigger than the AP2 but I think they are waterproof.
An aux fuse box is definitely a must if you are going to add lots of electrical mods. Sorry I can't help you with a location.
