Default Progressive 412 shocks?

I'm thinking of lowering using progressive 412 HD the 11.5" size, any feed back appreciated for example clearance, ride, floor boards scraping more or not?

No idea about the 412's.
I run 440's.
The 440's ride great!
I was running 11.5" shocks. Removed them because they were too low, for me.
Installed 12.5" and the ride is far better than the 11.5"...more travel.

I choose the 440s also because of the life time warranty. I think its an unbelievable ride compared to the stock air shocks.

Had 440s on my 03 RG, just bought a set for my 09 RG...checked $$$ and got them online at underbid.com, $388 for the 440-4002B (Somehow MAW listed it under this website, yet they charge more if you bought under mawonline)....my .02..

I had the 412s 11.5 and the ride was too rough especially 2-up. Switched to 440 12" and could not be happier once I got them dialed in.

Is a shorter shock the better way to go rather than the repositioning blocks? I was looking at the Arrnott air ride kit but that's some big money.

If you go for the 11.5" be sure to check for interference with the fender. Take the spring off of the shock and stroke it through it's travel. You don't want the tire rubbing the fender or wiring.
