Need some input on fairing mirrors. Thinking of putting a set on my EGC and was wondering if there are any issues like vibration or poor visibility?
Better or worse than stock handle bar mounted?

They are much better than stock, in that the view is not 2/3 filled with your shoulder(s).

I had them on my EGC years ago and really like them them. They are easy to install ~ a template is included for quick, simple drilling.

I really like my SG mirrors, no visibility or vibration issues whatsoever. Check out BadPiggy's fairing mounted custom mirrors for something unique.

I guess vibration was my main issue with the wind beating on the batwing. Thanks..

They are fine on the new style fairing, vibrated on my 92. Read the instructions, don't overtighten as the bolt is plastic! Ask me how I know.

I put them on my '05 EGC and, of course, they are stock on my '09 SG. I really like them and think they give you a better view, especially with a passenger.

They are awesome, will never go back to the handlebar mounted ones. They look great and give you a better view. They don't vibrate any more than the handlebar mounted type do.

I put higher bars on my SG and went with Kury Fairing mounted mirrors.
They work about as well as the stock mirrors with stock bars I guess.

+1. they also make a chrome back plate for the mirrors to dress them up some.
