50,000 mile RK

On my way into work this morning my RK turned over 50,000 miles!! I was so proud I almost pulled over to thank her for all the great times we have had already and the many to come but instead I just twisted the grip and passed a truck. [&:] That seemed to be what she wanted to do anyway. I think I'll go buy her some new chrome!

Wow! I hope I get to ride as much on my 03 RKC. I am already scheduled to ride to the 4 corners of NC over memorial weekend. And planning an Iron Butt ride in the fall. Beautiful bike with 50,000 safe miles. Congrats.

Wow...congrats...i am 3 miles from 50k on my 03 RK so tonites ride home from work will be a party. Dang i forgot a gift..reckon i will have to get one at Az. bike week on saturday...hmmm maybe a 2 into 1 thunderheader???

I have fun shooting for those numbers too. When I traded the 04 Roadking in January, I was just shy of 25,000 miles. I had the bike for 23 months. Talked to a friend this past weekend who has 160,000 + on a 1992 FXR shovel head.
